Since it has been so fun talking about vintage I wanted to continue on with that theme. I had read about this boutique in local magazines and heard about it from friends, and felt it was the perfect time to check it out for myself. Grey Dog: a vintage boutique is located in Fayetteville, AR on the corner of Trenton Ave and College Ave. I am sure you have noticed this cute little silver bullet trailer while driving past and been curious to see what is inside. Well trust me, if you do decide to go in, you will not be disappointed. I almost didn't want to blog about this place because I want it to be my own little secret! It is absolutely amazing and my personal dream boutique. I loved it so much I probably freaked out the owner by asking her if I could please work there and just get paid in merchandise....yeah I did that.
Inside this little wind-stream trailer are two long racks of dresses, blouses, pants, and shorts. Oh and a few bathing suits! Which made me so happy. The exciting thing about vintage is that each piece is one of a kind. This made me realize that I could share with all of you (lol)! Since the area is small, she often rotates clothing so you are sure to find something that is perfect for you. All of these dresses are great quality. Buttons, zippers, and seams are examples of things that are previously fixed or replaced so the dresses look practically new.
Clothes:
These garments are from the 1940's to 1980's and they do not disappoint. Florals, polkadots, stripes, fitted silhouettes, mini's, maxi's, tea length: something for everyone.
Shoes:
One thing that is talked about on Grey Dog's Facebook Page is how shopping vintage is green and environmentally responsible. Just and added bonus when finding things you can really love. Oh and I can't forget to talk about money! Everything is reasonably priced for an everyday kinda girl.
